We are convinced that traditional financial planning methods are not keeping up with the challenges of living a happy, healthy, and productive life well into your 80's and 90's. In September of 2002, we set out to create a new kind of financial services company, and Money Counts was born.

Our Advisory Team:
Debbie’s background in project management and strategic planning, as well as her experience in cash flow management, greatly enhances clients’ potential for financial success. Debbie pioneered the concept of Cash Flow Management as a critical (and missing piece) of traditional financial planning. Her 18 years of experience as the senior manager of Trust Operations and Technology with a major bank in upstate NY provide a unique perspective for our clients in how banks use velocity of money concepts to increase profits and why these same principles can work for individuals.
Marsha Taylor Pepper
Office Manager, Client Relations
Marsha joined our team in September 2007 as Office Manager, providing support to our clients and staff. She has paralegal knowledge in the areas of estate planning, administration, and co-managed a family business for 17 years. As a native Charlottean, Marsha’s connections in the community enable her to be well positioned to assist clients with both personal and financial needs.
Client Relationship Manager, Client Relations
Jennifer connected with the Money Counts team in June, 2008 as a project manager. After spending time at home with her two children and managing the household, she decided to re-engage with the workforce utilizing her business degree once again. Prior to her role as a stay at home parent, Jennifer worked for a major payroll provider in the 401k reconciliation department and worked her way up to an account executive for Major Market Services. Jennifer was in charge of new client set up and training on payroll software. This background has enabled her to assist our clients with the review process, online account access, and preparation for client meetings.
